This workshop provides fun and engaging activities for children to learn about structure, support and materials, while they come together in small groups to erect a tent together.

Children are introduced to the different types of tent designs and methods of building before breaking into small groups to visualise, plan and manage the mini-building process together. They will learn the essential skills of team-working, taking on different roles and learning to problem solve together.

Children have lots of fun at this workshop as they see their team’s effort being materialised into a built form. This sense of accomplishments is eagerly shared with parents at the end of every workshop session.
