DesignTinkers provide fun and creative workshops that are designed to pique curiosity, prompt inquiries, challenge norms, investigate, test ideas to get to unique outcomes through a design process. By exposing children to design ideas, concepts and aesthetics, they introduce Design Thinking as a process to problem-solve and be creative in finding solutions.
Their summer holiday camps offer hands-on and project-based workshops exploring interesting and current topics such as Design A Home, Build An Eco-Home, Re-imagine Communal Play + Space, Envisioning Classroom of the Future – these are complemented by various creative make-and-build activities designed for children to inquire, think critically while learning new skills to prototype their ideas from 2D to 3D. DesignTinkers make it a point to encourage children to collaborate in teams to work on the projects. In this way, they’ll learn to communicate and problem-solve effectively, developing the essential 21st-century skills in a fun and engaging way.
